Intervention in Libya

"The use of force is not our first choice" President Obama made this statement in response to his decision to go forth with 'Operation Odyssey Dawn'.

I am a supporter of Obama and I understand what his intentions are; to attack Muammar Gaddafi but 110 missiles? I am just uncertain about this decision. Was it the right time,  or too late? Should we have attacked Gaddafi's sooner? All I could think about was the billions of dollars the missiles cost- which I know is not even a conversation (at this time).

I just hope the fighting does not continue for too long and the initial reasoning for this broad coalition (USA, France, Canada, Italy, & Britain) merits it purpose. There needs to be some progress, that is for certain.

The president did say there would be limited military intervention, and that no ground troops will be deployed, which is good but when you are dealing with a tyrant like Gaddafi one can not help but to be nervous with uncertainty of how things will pan out. We will just have to continue to keep faith and support our president's efforts.
